ACQUIRED EQUIPMENT TO OPERATE MILLIMETRIC TUMORS – BREAST UNIT – AS.S.T EAST BERGAMO OF SERIATE

The Breast Unit of the A.S.S.T East Bergamo of Seriate recently acquired a sophisticated equipment, extremely accurate, able to locate intra-operative and surgically remove breast tumors and metastases of a few millimeters, therefore at a very early stage. This equipment – already used during an experimental project held in 2018 by the Breast Surgery Team of the “Bolognini” Hospital in Seriate, directed by Dr. Domenico Gerbasi, during an important European Experience work, unique in the province of Bergamo, which involved many Centers of Excellence for Breast Care – had in fact obtained the desired results.
