The first important results on the extensive study of coagulation in COVID-19 patients will be presented at the prestigious annual meeting of the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Patricia Gomez-Rosas, research hematologist at the Center for Immunohematology and Transfusion Medicine of the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo, directed by Anna Falanga, will present the emerging data of the EMOCOVID-19 Study at the prestigious annual conference of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) – American Society of Hematology.
Also, the presentation “Extensive Characterization of the Hemostatic Derangement Occurring in COVID-19 Patients Admitted to the Bergamo Hospital”, which is the result of the joint work of doctors, biologists, nurses and laboratory technicians of the Department of Immunohematology and Transfusion Medicine of Bergamo,has been selected as the abstract for the special session entitled “Best of ASH”.
